If you want to link an element to a hidden page (this is great for creating your own menu for example):

1.    Click Pages located on the upper grey bar.

2.    Click Manage Pages located on the upper black ‘Pages’ bar.

Reorder dialog box will appear.

3.    Click Add a Page. An Add a Page dialog box will appear.

4.     Choose the type of page to add or Add a Blank Page. You will be redirected to the Reorder dialog box with your new page included.

5.    Close the Reorder dialog box and insert the content you wish to have on the hidden page.

6.    Go to the page where you have the element you wish to use as a menu button.

7.    Click on the element.

8.    Click on the hyperlink icon at the top of the element box. A Set Link dialog box will appear. (See more on links here)

9.    In the Set Link box, choose link type Internal Page and choose the hidden page you wish to connect to the element and click OK.

10.    Go back to the Reorder box (steps 1-2) and Uncheck the checkbox next to a page to make the page hidden. By unchecking, there won’t be a “regular” menu button leading to the page and it will be accessible only by a link.

Creating a Bilingual Site

You can add flags/languages icons and link them to different pages in order to have double-language site. See here how to link them to hidden pages (meaning, they will not be shown in the main menu -http://support.imcreator.com/entries/24074190-Adding-a-link-to-a-hidden-page)

This option can be done by following these steps:

1. Create all the pages you want to have on your site (double of each page, for each language).
2. Go to Pages > Manage pages and make all pages hidden.
3. Create a menu for the first language through Add an Element > Sub-menu.
4. Add the buttons you want to have on this menu and link each of them to an internal page in the the specific language.
5. Copy this menu and paste it to all the pages of this language.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the second language.
7. Add two flags and link each of them to the home page of the respective language.

Another option is having both the languages in the same page, many bilingual fashion magazines do it and it looks great (left column in one language, right column the other).

Adding a PayPal Button

Embed a PayPal button using the HTML element as shown at imcreator.com/create-a-website/html-embed-code

see - https://www.paypal.com/pdn-item

Button size:

Generally what you need in order to control the Paypal button size is to manually add to the image field the measurements using CSS code which is inserted directly as inline CSS, instead of a separate style sheet. Also you should delete the black background from the button and the frame.

The part of the code that controls the size should look like this:

“… The safer, easier way to pay online.” style=”width:96px; height:21px; background: none; border: none;”>….”

If you connected an existing domain to your IM Creator site though Google Apps, in order to link your ‘naked domain’ (yoursite.com, without the “www”), to www.yoursite.com, please add, in your domain registrar’s panel, an empty A record (with ‘@’ under Host) that directs to the address: 216.239.32.21.

After you change the record log into your Google Apps account. Go to Domain Settings> Domain names, under ‘status’ of your primary domain click the link to redirect your naked domain.

Still don’t see your site when you type in the domain without “www”? You may be viewing a cached copy of the page – clear your cache and try typing the domain name in the address bar again.
If you connected directly to IM Creator simply add the A record: 174.129.25.170

Google AdSense is a way to earn revenue by showing relevant ads alongside your online content on your own website.  You can add the ad using the HTML element in the IM Creator editor and choose where you want to place it in your site.

You can see more information at www.google.com/adsense.

To add AdSense:

1. Create an Adsense account. You will need to provide the URL of your site and personal information, which will be reviewed and approved by Google.

2. In your editor go to Add an Element > HTML.

3. Click on Edit HTML.

4. Copy the HTML code you will receive from Google and paste it into the raw HTML settings dialog box. Click OK.

5. Place the HTML box where you want your ads to appear.

It can take Google up to four days to start showing ads on your live site.  Until that point, your site will appear to have no ads on it at all.

IM Creator does not charge for adding ads nor do we charge any extra fees for that.
